Instal WordPress pada PC (bagian 3)

Setelah Anda menginstal XAMPP, Anda perlu membuat database sebelum menginstal WordPress. Database ini akan dipakai oleh WordPress untuk menyimpan data-data di situs blog Anda.

Berikut cara membuat database:

  • Jalankan XAMPP (aktifkan Apache dan MySql), lalu jalankan browser dan ketik http://localhost. Pada tampilan XAMPP for Windows yang muncul di browser, klik [phpMyAdmin] – adanya di menu bagian kiri.
  • Pada tampilan yang muncul, isi nama database, dalam hal ini “wordpress” dan klik [Create].

Isi nama database

  • Database “wordpress” telah dibuat. Klik [Privileges].
  • Terlihat bahwa pemakai (user) adalah “root”.

Nama pemakai root

Sampai di sini Anda telah membuat database bernama “wordpress” dengan pemakai (user) “root”. Informasi ini kita butuhkan untuk instal WordPress. Sekarang tutup browser Anda.

    Maaf mohon bantuan nya bos, setelah klik [phpMyadmin} malah terjadi seperti ini:

    MySQL said: Documentation
    Cannot connect: invalid settings.
