WordPress version 2.7 or later allows users to upload images or other media files directly to Library. In previous version, images should be inserted in an article and then the images would be saved in the Library – you could not upload any images directly to the Library.

Therefore you will need to know how to insert images saved in Library into an arcticle, wether they were uploaded directly to the Library or had been inserted in other arcticles. Here is how to insert images (in the Library) into an article:

• Click “Add an Image” tool on [Upload/Insert] toolbar. 



•  In the Add Image window, click the [Media Library] tab . Select an image that will be inserted into an article and click [Show].

• On the next screen you can redefine the placement (left, center, or right) and the size of the image that will be displayed. If necessary, you can also change the image’s title, caption, and description. But you can also make no changes. Then click [Insert into Post] button. And the image have been inserted into your article.

Here’s how to write an articles and publish it.

• Select [Add New] option on the [Posts] menu.
• Type the title of your article in the title field (above).
• Write your article below the title.
• After writing an article, you can group in this article into a category. Specify a category by clicking a category name that already exists.

• Or, you can add a category by clicking [+ Add New Category]. Type a name of category – in this example “Tutorial” and click [Add]. Or before clicking [Add], select [Parent category] if the category “Tutorial” is a subcategory of a category that has been made before. If not, the category “Tutorial” is a parent category.

• Type some tags (keywords of an article or a post) if you want to use tags feature. Tags are displayed on your site and can be used to search for articles/posts quickly based on that keywords.
• After that, click [Publish]. Or if you want to publish later on, click [Save Draft]. Once you publish the posting, your article has been display on your blog.
